You can apply for a criminal record check at the Embassy and Permanent Mission of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Vienna if you have resided or worked in Afghanistan

Afghan Nationals
- Duly completed and signed CRC Application Form
- One standard passport-size photo
- Copy of Tazkera (it is very essential)
- Copy of Passport and Austrian Visa
- Any reference/documents from previous assignments in Afghanistan
- Proof of Address
- Fingerprints
Non- Afghan Nationals
- Duly completed and signed CRC Application Form
- One standard passport-size photo
- Proof of ID
- Proof of Address
- Visa Stamp copies from previous visits to Afghanistan
- Any reference/documents from previous assignments in Afghanistan
- Fingerprints
Fees
- 50 Euros for Afghan nationals
- 100 Euros for non-Afghans (We do not accept cash payments- CARD ONLY)

Important Information
After the receipt of an application for CRC, the applicant’s details are sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan. The Ministry then forwards the details to the relevant authorities to carry out the checks. When the Ministry receives the results of the checks, they forward the results to the consulate section in Vienna, and the applicant is then issued with a letter confirming the results of the CRC.
Please download the application form and fill it in before you arrive at the Consulate Section. It is also the applicant’s responsibility to inform the Embassy officials if a CRC has been previously requested. Failure to do so may result in a denial of the petition.
