Before applying for marriage registration certificate, take a hard copy of the following documents:

1. Original Tazkira with a hard copy or valid Afghan passport.
2. Original IDCard of the host country with a hard copy.
3. Two (2) pieces 3×4 color photos of husband and wife.
4. If you migrated under age to the host country you have a registration letter. If you migrated over age, you must provide a confession letter for celibacy.
5. Two Afghan male witnesses to testify for your marriage
6. Three confessors to confess for your marriage.
7. Application Form (to be filled out before coming to the consulate section of the embassy)
8. Marriage Registration Form (to be filled out at the consulate section of the embassy after receiving the witness confirmation form)
